The Litchfield Rescue Squad calendar sweepstakes winners for the first couple weeks of January include:
Rosella Jorgensen, Jamie Lecher, Mary Ann Dingmann, Cathy Peters, Kyle Joramo, Shane Dille, Hal Huso and Travis Magoon – all of Litchfield, JoAnn Spiering of Hutchinson, Molly Baker of Versailles, Kentucky, Gary Gruenke of Rockland, Wisconsin and Kylie Ross of Mankato. Each of them will receive $20 from the Litchfield Rescue Squad.
JOSIE BJORKMAN has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Mr. Quiring of the Social Studies Department. Josie is a junior and the daughter of Kyle and Hanna Bjorkman of Litchfield. Josie has demonstrated outstanding academic performance throughout the semester. She consistently excels in Geography, earning high grades and completing all assignments with a high level of quality and effort. She comes to class each day with a positive, enthusiastic attitude that positively influences those around her. She approaches every lesson with an open and engaged mindset, regardless of the topic. Josie assists her classmates in situations where she understood the course content to help clarify any parts where they had confusion. Josie participates in Volleyball, Track, and FCCLA. Her hobbies and interests include taking her dogs on walks, hanging out with family, visiting new places and participating in service projects. TRINITY GARDING has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Mrs. McGraw of the English Department. Trinity is a sophomore and the daughter of Jeff Garding and Lana Garding of Grove City and Litchfield. Trinity is willing to help her peers and school staff and takes initiative to get her work done. She brings a smile and positive energy to the classroom. Trinity’s hobbies and interests include being with family and friends, riding UTVs and camping. The 2026 Litchfield Rescue Squad calendars are now available for sale for $20 each at Litchfield Building Center, KLFD, Miller Automotive, Ramsey Printing, Mid Country Bank, Sure Stay, Insurance Solutions and from any current Litchfield Rescue Squad member.
