The annual Golden Fleece Lodge #89 Vidalia Onion sale is underway.  The cost is $14 for a 10-pound bag.  The onions will be delivered the second week of May.  To place orders, call Jim Curry at 221-1925.

The 18^th annual BBQ Chicken Dinner & Bake Sale for the Riverview Christian School will be at the new Believer’s Fellowship Hall – north of Grove City – at 34419 520^th Avenue on Friday, April 25^th from 3:30-to-8 p.m.  The menu includes BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, home-grown sweet corn, coleslaw, dinner rolls, pie and ice cream.  The suggested donation is $20 for adults and $12 for children.

The Grove City Lions Club Pancake Breakfast is on Sunday, April 27^th from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Grove City Community Center.  The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 6-to-12.  The menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, juice and coffee.

The Spring Brunch at 1^st Lutheran Church of Cosmos will be on Sunday, April 27^th from 11-to-1.  The menu includes oven pancakes with toppings, fruit, sausage, dessert and beverage for a freewill offering.  Proceeds will go towards steeple repair.  The church is at 54986 145^th Street.

The Eden Valley Area Chamber is hosting a Lunch & Learn at A Maze’n Farmyard on April 30th from 11 a.m.-to-12:45 p.m.  The guest speaker will be Katie Fay with “Let’s Get Organized and Declutter – Home or Office.”  It’s free for Eden Valley and Watkins Chamber Members and $10 for non-members. The Pork Chop Dinner at the Forest City Threshers Dining Hall will be on Sunday, May 4^th from 11-to-1.  The menu includes grilled pork chops, au gratin potatoes, vegetable and strawberry shortcake.
