Meeker Area Partners in Prevention is once again hosting a summer scavenger hunt. The 7th annual event officially begins on June 1st and will conclude on September 11th.

Meeker Area Partners in Prevention is once again hosting a summer scavenger hunt. The 7th annual event officially begins on June 1st and will conclude on September 11th.
Participants are encouraged to enjoy various summer activities under the categories of Fun in the Sun, Get Active, Fun at the Fair, Feed Your Soul, and Be Kind. The completed game cards can be turned in to the Meeker County Health & Human Services office at 114 North Holcombe Avenue in Litchfield. Winners will be drawn on September 15th and will be notified by phone.

The Angel Dress Program of All Saints Lutheran Church in Darwin will have its 2nd Annual Garage Sale at Lake Marion Ballroom August 5th, 6th and 7th from 9-to-5 and August 8th from 9-to-2. They are looking for donations of garage sale items (no large furniture, no large appliances and no electronics), plants, baked goods, gift cards and baskets. Call Gayle Maurer at 320-582-0156 or Patty Hauer at 320-420-3290 for drop off or pick up locations. The event in August will also include a basket drawing, raffle drawing, and hot dogs, beverages and snacks to purchase.
