The Litchfield Area Community Foundation popcorn stand will be open in Central Park Thursdays and Fridays from 5-to-8 p.m. beginning MAY 14^th and continuing through September 25^th.

Meeker Area Partners in Prevention is once again hosting a summer scavenger hunt.  The 7^th annual event officially begins on June 1^st and will conclude on September 11^th.

Participants are encouraged to enjoy various summer activities under the categories of Fun in the Sun, Get Active, Fun at the Fair, Feed Your Soul, and Be Kind. The completed game cards can be turned in to the Meeker County Health & Human Services office at 114 North Holcombe Avenue in Litchfield.  Winners will be drawn on September 15^th and will be notified by phone.

The ABATE of MN State Motorcycle Rally will be September 4^th through the 7^th at the Meeker County Fairgrounds in Litchfield.  There will be live music, food, sled pulls, a memorial ride, a fashion show, bike and trike games, a chili contest, a bike show, vendors and more.  For more details, go to abatemn.org/events.

The Atwater Threshing Show is on Saturday, Sept. 12^th and Sunday, Sept. 13^th from 7-to-4 each day.  Ford is the featured equipment this year.  There’s a tractor parade each day at 1 p.m., bluegrass and country music – including Monroe Crossing on Sunday at 2 p.m., a worship service on Sunday at 8 a.m., kid’s pedal pull Sunday at 11 a.m., food, demonstrations and more.  Admission is $10 for adults and free for children 12 and under.

The Lil’ Round Lake Association 2026 annual cash raffle will be on Saturday, September 12^th at the Litchfield Eagles Club with lunch and door prizes starting at 12 p.m. and the drawing at 2 p.m.  The grand prize is $5,000.  Each ticket is $50 and only 300 are sold.  Tickets are available from lake association members, at Center Insurance Solutions or call Kyle at 320-815-2481.

The Bazaar and Car Show at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield will be on Sunday, September 13^th from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  There will be all kinds of food, games, a country store, bingo, music, a cash raffle drawing and more.  The day begins with mass at 8 a.m.  Raffle tickets in advance for $10 each are available from any parish member or at the church office.

Dassel-Cokato Senior Expo. The event will be held on Saturday, September 26th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Dassel-Cokato High School. It’s a free community event, open to all ages, featuring local businesses and organizations that provide resources, services, and information for older adults, caregivers, and their families.

The Little Red Schoolhouse – south of Litchfield – will have an open house on Saturday, Sept. 26^th from 10-to-2.
