BRAYDN FIELD has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Mr. Holcomb. Braydn is a freshman and the son of Steve and Brittany of Darwin. Braydn was chosen for this honor based upon being highly responsible, polite and kind and for being respectful to all people. Braydn participates in Football and Wrestling. BELLA STRUCK has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Mr. Damerow of the Science Department. Bella is senior and the daughter of Jason and Jessica Koehnen and Brandon Struck of Litchfield. Bella is a hardworking student who understands the material, asks good questions and positively contributes to the class. Bella participates in Cross Country, Hockey, FCA, National Honor Society and is Track Manager. Her other hobbies and interests include going on walks and paddle boarding. COLE RIEHLE has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Mr. Burgess of the Industrial Tech Department. Cole is senior and the son of Andy Riehle and Katie Riehle of Darwin. Cole consistently comes to class ready to work, stays on task, and takes pride in completing projects correctly and with great workmanship. He regularly assists classmates and shares knowledge that he has learned from both his place of employment and work in the shop here. Cole demonstrates pride in his work by focusing on accuracy, craftsmanship and attention to detail. He takes the time to do the job right the first time, understands the importance of quality over speed, and holds himself to a high standard on every project they complete. He encourages others, stays professional and represents the shop with a passion that cannot be unnoticed. Cole participates in Trap Shooting. LILY JAHNKE has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Ashley Pingree of the English Department. Lily is a senior and the daughter of Meghan Jahnke of Litchfield. Lily is consistently engaged and attentive during class, adding thoughtful comments to classroom discussions and asking questions when needed. She works diligently on each assignment given to her and takes the time to edit her work, always adding personality and perfecting the final product. Lily finds a way to make a connection with anyone near her and keeps an optimistic attitude, even when times get tough. She keeps positive and brings joy to the classroom. HOLDEN FROEMMING has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Mr. Pankratz of the Industrial Tech Department. Holden is a sophomore and the son of Whittney and Rian Froemming of South Haven. During intro to Woods, Holden was extremely helpful to students in the class. He is always willing and able to help others in using the machines and the process. He learned very quickly how to process materials in order to make them usable for the finished projects. Holden wants the finished project to be done correctly and at a high standard. His hobbies and interests include sports, hunting, being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. ARTURO CASTELLON has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Mrs. Michels of the Physical Education Department. Arturo is a freshman and the son of Cesar Arturo Castellon and Irma Medina of Litchfield. Arturo’s consistent effort is truly exceptional. Regardless of the unit or activity, he approaches every challenge with 100% intensity and a drive to improve. He doesn’t just meet the daily standards for physical education, he consistently exceeds them. He has a unique ability to work with any peer, often going out of his way to ensure every classmate feels included and engaged. He understands that true teamwork means lifting others up alongside himself. Arturo is a model of respect in my class. He demonstrates great maturity by effectively advocating for himself and his peers, always pairing his questions with a genuine desire to learn about strategy and technique, expanding both is and his classmates knowledge. His ability to communicate with both staff and students is a testament of his character. His hobbies and interest include helping his family with work at home. ABE OLSON has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Mrs. Savage of the Social Studies Department. Abe is a freshman and the son of Nick and Joan Olson of Litchfield. Abe is a hard worker and always turns in high quality work. He is curious and wants to learn more about history. He is a great participant in all class activities. Abe has the best manners and is a dream for any teacher to work with. Abe participates in Cross Country, Track, Band, Choir and Knowledge Bowl.
