The Litchfield Rescue Squad calendar sweepstakes winners this week include:
Art Elson, Melissa Tangen and Dave Huhner – all of Litchfield, Randy Compart of Courtland and Pam Groskreutz of Hutchinson. Each of them will receive $20 from the Litchfield Rescue Squad.
The 2025 Litchfield Rescue Squad calendars are available at KLFD, Litchfield Building Center, Miller Automotive, Ramsey Printing, Mid Country Bank and from any Litchfield Rescue Squad member.
WAYLON SHOULTZ has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Terri Orzolek. Waylon is a junior and the son of Megan and Adam Shoultz of Litchfield. Waylon has demonstrated a great deal of improvement and maturity in regards to his school work. He has a goal of graduating by the end of quarter 3 of the 2025-2026 school year. Waylon actively participates in class discussions, is not afraid to voice his opinion and is very helpful to his fellow classmates. He brings a great deal of humor to the classroom. Waylon’s hobbies and interests include rebuilding motors and working on vehicles. Congratulations Waylon on being chosen as this weeks Student of the Week!

BRIDGETTE EASTMAN has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Natalie Nelson of the Math Department. Bridgette is a freshman and the daughter of Kristopher and Elizabeth Eastman of Litchfield. Bridgette is a leader in our classroom community and is a consistent model student. She is kind and supportive of peers and is always willing to help others. Bridgette consistently demonstrates a growth mindset and invests the hard work necessary to be successful. She is tenacious and demonstrates a positive attitude toward the learning process, viewing mistakes or challenges as opportunities to deepen her understanding of the material. Bridgette advocates for herself effectively through asking thoughtful questions and communicating her needs. She takes ownership of her learning and works diligently toward achieving her goals. Bridgette’s hobbies and interests include gardening, reading, being outside, and ice skating. Congratulations Bridgette on being chosen as this weeks Student of the Week!
