The Litchfield Rescue Squad calendar sweepstakes winners this week include:
Courtney Klimstra, Roxanne Godejahn and Joel Engler – all of Litchfield, Dustin Wills of South Haven and Gary Tangen of Detroit Lakes. Each of them will receive $20 from the Litchfield Rescue Squad.
The 2026 Litchfield Rescue Squad calendars are now available for sale for $20 each at Litchfield Building Center, KLFD, Miller Automotive, Ramsey Printing, Mid Country Bank and from any current Litchfield Rescue Squad member.
KELSEY PALMER has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Mrs. Damerow of the Math Department. Kelsey is a senior and the daughter of Cory and Tina Palmer of Litchfield. Kelsey works hard every day to learn the material in Calculus class, stays on top of deadlines, and is a diligent student in all her classes. She is a dedicated leader of Student Council. She cares about her school community and volunteers a lot of her time to organizing fun events for students at Litchfield High School. Kelsey is fun, loves to laugh, is kind and cares about all the people around her. Kelsey participates in Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, President of Student Council and President of Letters of Love. Her hobbies and interests include golf, playing pickleball, shopping and hanging with friends. Congratulations Kelsey on being chosen as this weeks Student of the Week!

PAIGE HOFIUS has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Mrs. Crusoe. Paige is a sophomore and the daughter of Nathan and Ashley Hofius of Darwin. Paige is a gentle, hardworking student whose quiet determination truly shines. She comes to class each day ready to learn, gives her best effort in everything she does and makes thoughtful use of her time – often enjoying a good book. Paige’s calm presence and consistent dedication do not go unnoticed and she is an inspiration to those around her.
