The Litchfield Rescue Squad calendar sweepstakes winners this week include:
Rudy Russow, Chuck Rizzo, Betty Jo Carlson and Melissa Tangen – all of Litchfield, and Marnie Flynn of Azle, Texas. Each of them will receive $20 from the Litchfield Rescue Squad.
The 2025 Litchfield Rescue Squad calendars are available at KLFD, Litchfield Building Center, Miller Automotive, Ramsey Printing, Mid Country Bank and from any Litchfield Rescue Squad member.
MADISON MOREHOUSE has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Mrs. Amy Terning of the Academics Department. Madison is a sophomore and the daughter of Nyona Morehouse and Chris Morehouse. Madison always works hard to get her work done. She has a positive attitude and is respectful to the staff and her peers. Madison has a fun personality and helps other students when they need help with their work. Her hobbies and interests include coloring, four wheeling, puzzles and playing with animals. Congratulations Madison on being selected as this weeks “Student of the Week”.

LUCY BLOMBERG has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Nick Besemer of the Math Department. Lucy is a freshman and the daughter of Robert and Jennifer Blomberg of Litchfield. Lucy demonstrates a strong commitment to academic excellence and consistently puts forth effort in all assignments. Her willingness to ask questions and at times even suggest incorrect answers has helped others in the classroom. She treats peers and teachers with kindness and respect. Lucy takes initiative in group activities and projects, inspiring others to participate and work together towards common goals. Lucy participates Track and Dance. Her interests and hobbies include making desserts, dancing and doing crafts. Congratulations Lucy on being selected as this weeks “Student of the Week”.
