The Litchfield Rescue Squad calendar sweepstakes winners this week include:
Josh Carlson, Joan Kruger, and Sarah Stradtmann – all of Litchfield, Tony Clark of Grove City and Adam Landers of Hutchinson. Each of them will receive $20 from the Litchfield Rescue Squad.
ELAINA FICKEL has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Susan Rohrbeck of the Focus Department. Elaina is a freshman and the daughter of Caitlin Fickel of Litchfield. Elaina is the Focus Student of the Month for many reasons. First, is her strong academic performance and her commitment to success in all of her freshman classes. Second, she actively participates in class lessons daily and willingly volunteers to help her peers. Lastly, her consistent, positive behavior is respectful to both teachers and students, making her a delight to have in class. Elaina participates in Basketball and Track. Her hobbies and interests include spending time with animals. Congratulations Elaina on being chosen as this weeks Student of the Week!

MALLORY TERNING has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Mr. Storm of the PE Department. Mallory is a freshman and the daughter of Jared and Amy Terning of Litchfield. Mallory is a natural leader and goes above and beyond what is asked of her on a daily basis. She has been caught tidying up the gym without being asked, because she sees the big picture of “things that need to be done”. Her initiative inspires others to follow her lead and example. She demonstrates hard work and is dedicated. Mallory comes to class with her bright attitude and contagious personality. She is always willing to include others to foster a thriving and positive environment for everyone around her. Mallory participates in Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Student Council and Band. Her hobbies and interests include practicing and playing the sports she’s in, hanging out with friends and family, shopping and going to the lake in the summertime.
