2-Vehicle Crash in Acoma Township

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a 2-vehicle accident on Wednesday morning at 5:33. The crash occurred on Highway 7 at Yacht Avenue in Acoma Township in McLeod County.
 
A 2024 GMC Sierra, driven by 69-year-old Darrell Martin Mackedanz of Litchfield, was traveling eastbound on Highway 7, and a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 29-year-old Tyler Allen Osmonson of Hutchinson, was traveling westbound, and the two vehicles collided.

Osmonson received life-threatening injuries and was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center. Mackedanz was not injured. Also responding to the scene were the Mcleod County Sheriff’s Office, Hutchinson Fire Dept. and EMS, and Aircare.
