Community Truck or Treat
The Litchfield Visitors Bureau is encouraging people to visit Litchfield for another big event. The 6th annual Community Trunk or Treat is coming up on Sunday, October 25th, from 3-to-5 p.m. in the parking lot south of the Meeker County Fairgrounds.
Robbie Brown says anyone who would like to set up their vehicle to hand out treats can find more information on Facebook at “LitchTOT” and she would like to know who is going to be participating.
Brown says they are expecting anywhere from 800-to-900 kids to attend and with the accompanying adults, it could be between 1200 and 1300 people. She says the Watercade royalty will serve hot chocolate, and people are encouraged to bring donations for the Meeker Area Food Shelf.
Deana Wheeler says the Downtown Council is promoting its annual Frankenstein Friday in Downtown Litchfield on October 30th so if you see a Frankenstein picture in the window of a business, you may go in and get treats. She says the Litchfield Visitors Bureau is getting ready for Light Up Litchfield on November 19th and they are hoping to be able to light up the deciduous tree again this year.
Wheeler says the Litchfield Visitors Bureau has the new table tents out for the 4th quarter which lists events for the final 3 months of 2026. She says you can find more information about what’s going on in the Litchfield area at litchfieldmn.com.
