Grief Share Class – “Surviving the Holidays”
A Grief Share class – “Surviving the Holidays” – will be held at Cornerstone Church in Litchfield on November 9th from 6-to-8 p.m. The class includes a video and workbook which are provided free of charge by the church.
Tina Young helps to facilitate the class and says this will be the 4th year that they’ve had it. She says they offer grief support meetings throughout the year, but the holidays create some unique circumstances and the grieving process is different for everyone.
Young says if the group is too large, they split into smaller groups so that people feel more comfortable sharing. She says they use a faith-based curriculum, but people from any church or even those who do not attend church are welcome.
