LAMP Fall Fundraisers

The Litchfield Area Mentorship Program has a couple of fall fundraisers coming up. Turkey Bingo is scheduled for November 20th at the Litchfield Eagles Club, and the porch planter sale has been underway.

Erika Buller says today is actually the deadline for ordering the porch planters. She says they are $50 each and include an arrangement of spruce tips and decorations in a 10-inch pot that will make your home look festive for the upcoming holiday season. To place an order, call 320-699-1616 or email your order to info@lampkinship.org. The porch planters will be delivered or may be picked up on November 13th.

Buller says the Lunch Buddies program is up and running in the elementary schools of the school districts within Meeker County. She says they get a lot of the same volunteers in the program each school year.

Buller says they made 4 of their one-on-one matches between children and mentors this past summer and 3 more are being matched this fall, but they always have children on a waiting list, so more mentors are needed.
