LAMP Upcoming Summer Events

The Litchfield Area Mentorship Program had a great turn-out Tuesday evening for the pork chop drive-through supper at the Fieldgate Cheese store pavilion. Members of the organization will be in Litchfield’s Central Park on Saturday from 9-to-3 with a booth during Art-in-the-Park.

Judy Hulterstrum says they will have a couple of art projects that kids will enjoy. She says they have some white ceramic mugs that the kids can paint, and they will also be able to make reverse tie-dye t-shirts.

Hulterstrum says LAMP will be at the Meeker County Fair with the 2nd annual Great LAMP Adventure scavenger hunt on August 1st from 1-to-3 in which teams will have a chance to win Walmart gift cards. She says the Lunch Buddies program will get going again with the new school year and a new Lunch Buddies program is starting at Eden Valley-Watkins Elementary School, in addition to the existing programs at Lake Ripley Elementary, ACGC Elementary and Dassel-Cokato Elementary.
