Litchfield City Council Meeting
The Litchfield City Council discussed the idea of selling THC products at the municipal liquor store last evening. Any action on the matter has been tabled for one month to give Council members time to research the idea.
The Council has approved of plans and specifications and ordered the advertisement for bids for the Swift Avenue/Ripley Street improvement project. Bids will be awarded in September and part of the project could get started this fall, with most of the work taking place next year.
The Council approved of a tax parcel split and a site plan review for Rod Lindquist at 1525 East U.S. Highway 12 for the Victory Lane oil change facility. The approval of those resolutions then led to a discussion about frontage road parking in that area. City staff will present a recommendation on the parking issue at the next meeting.
Also last night, the Litchfield City Council approved of a tobacco license application at 914 North Sibley Avenue, and had some discussion on data centers.
