Litchfield Rescue Squad Pancake Breakfast
The Litchfield Rescue Squad is bring back its pancake breakfast on Sunday at the Eagles Club from 7-to-1. It’s been several years since the Litchfield Rescue Squad put on a breakfast.
Jess Jensrud says it’s a nice way for the Rescue Squad members to work together, mingle with the public and also to raise some additional funds that they can use for equipment and training. She says there’s always something new that they need to learn during their monthly training sessions which she leads as an assistant chief, and they are so thankful for all of the help they’ve received from the Litchfield Eagles Club in getting Sunday’s breakfast coordinated.
Jensrud says they have 28 members, but could use a couple more. Litchfield Rescue Squad Captain Joanna Mackereth says she lead the personnel committee and anyone interested in joining the Squad can apply at City Hall or find an application online.
Mackereth says Sunday’s breakfast will include pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs and sausage. She says it costs $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under.
