Litchfield School Board Meeting
The Litchfield School Board met last night and approved of a resolution calling for an election on November 3rd to elect 3 school board members. The Board also approved of a resolution relating to the general education revenue of the school district, authorizing the issuance of school building bonds, and calling an election there-on.
The two questions on the ballot on November 3rd for voters in the Litchfield School District include increasing the general education revenue by $415 per pupil for 10-years; and issuing general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $15,400,000. A big chunk of the proposed improvement projects are at the Wagner Education Building.
The Litchfield School Board also approved of a resolution adopting the long-term facilities maintenance 10-year plan. The Board also approved of a resolution accepting a donation of $3,090 from the Litchfield Band Boosters for the Litchfield Marching Band for busing costs.
