The Ostmark Lutheran Church Fall Bazaar will be on Saturday, October 5th, from 8:30-to-1. The church is at 32721 680th Avenue – south of Watkins.
Gerry Moen says there will be a farmer’s market, morning coffee, noon lunch, crafts, quilts, jams, jellies, salsa, apple sauce, pickles, a bake sale and more. She says this is the 50th year of the Ostmark Fall Bazaar.
Moen says the Bazaar has been held at Ostmark Church ever since they built their new church. She says the morning coffee on Saturday will include various kinds of coffee cake, and the noon lunch will include BBQs and their home made vegetable beef soup which is also sold by the quart for people to take home.
Joyce Burgstaler says she used to make a Finnish flat bread for the bake sale, but didn’t make it last year, so she may make some for this year’s Bazaar, but there will be other Finnish items and other baked goods. She says the Ostmark sewing circle will also have quilts for sale.
Burgstaler says the sewing circle makes quilts to send to Lutheran World Relief, and they also give quilts to Wings in Litchfield and to fire victims. Everyone is welcome to the Bazaar at Ostmark Lutheran Church this Saturday from 8:30-to-1. Proceeds will help with camping scholarships and to support Meeker Area Ministries.
