Peanut Butter & Milk Festival Committee Meeting
The Peanut Butter & Milk Festival Committee met Tuesday evening after taking the summer months off for meetings, but the group did not take the summer off for other activities. Members of the Committee helped with the Meeker Energy event on May 20th, the Center Bank Brat Feed during Watercade, and with the American Dairy Assn. Moo Booth at the Meeker County Fair.
One of the PB&M Committee members – Bianca Forsberg – was crowned during Watercade as a Litchfield Princess. Also – Meeker County Dairy Princess Claudia Frenchick was one of the finalists for Princess Kay of the Milky Way. Frenchick and her mother, Amy will be traveling to Hartford, Alabama for the annual sister-city exchange trip November 7th through the 14th – along with Litchfield FFA students Joe Barka and Desirae Polzin and their chaperones – Terri Anderson and Tyler Burgess.
The next Peanut Butter & Milk Festival Committee meeting will be on Tuesday, October 20th, at 7 p.m. in the Litchfield High School Ag Room. Everyone is welcome to get involved.
