Vehicle/Pedestrian Accident in Richmond

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a vehicle/pedestrian accident on Saturday night at 10:18 on Highway 23 near St. Francis Street in Richmond.  A 2024 Ford Bronco was traveling southbound on Highway 23 near St. Francis Street when it collided with the pedestrian.  The Bronco was driven by 39-year-old Jessie Elizabeth Trevino of Clements, MN.  She was not injured.  A passenger in her vehicle – 38-year-old Guadalupe Dejesus Trevino of Clements also was not injured.  The pedestrian – Grant George Rossberg of Richmond – was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital with life-threatening injuries.  Alcohol was suspected with Rossberg.  Also responding to the scene were Cold Spring Police Dept., Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, Richmond Fire and Rescue and Mayo EMS.
