74-year-old PATRICK SILAS MITCHELL of Litchfield passed away peacefully on Thursday, January
8, 2026, at J.A. Wedum Residential Hospice in Brooklyn Park surrounded by family.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the Church of Saint Philip in
Litchfield at 11 AM.

Visitation will be held at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 4-to-7 P.M. with a prayer service at 6 P.M. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the mass on Friday at the church.

Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Pat is survived by his loving wife – Dianne

Children – Jeremy (& Carolina) Mitchell of Virginia Beach, Virgina, Colonel, United States Army; Stephanie Mitchell of Champlin, and William Mitchell of Maple Grove

Grandson – Raylan Mitchell of Virginia Beach, Virginia

Sisters – Mary Mies of Buffalo and Cecelia Dickinson of St. Cloud

Brothers-in-law – Charles Stenger of St. Cloud, Larry Fetkenhauer of Surprise, Arizona, Darrel (& Carol) Borchardt of Winthrop, and Lyall (& Carol) Borchardt of Buffalo

Sister-in-law – Karen Burke of Tyler, Texas, and by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
