Ruth Massingham

75-year-old RUTH IDA MASSINGHAM of Litchfield passed away on December 22, 2025.

A funeral service will be held at First Lutheran Church in Litchfield on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 11 A.M.   

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, from 4-to-7 P.M. at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.  

Burial will be at Lake Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield.

Ruth is survived by her children – Michael (& Renee) Massingham and their children – Paige, Elizabeth and Cody; Melanie (& Matt) Chrast and their children – Dylan and Seth; Brian (& Renee) Massingham and their children – Hayley, Josh, Carter, and Tyler

Sisters – Bea Buttenhoff, Evelyn (& Dale) Schmieg, and Karen (& Merlin) Schmieg; and by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
