Vernon Nistler

72-year-old VERNON “VERN” NISTLER of Paynesville passed away on Saturday, January 10, at Quiet Oaks Hospice House near St. Cloud.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, at Shady’s 55 near Paynesville. A time of sharing memories will start at 2 p.m., followed by fellowship.

Private family burial will be at Fort Snelling in Minneapolis at a later date.

Vernon is survived by his son – Michael (& Bridgit) Nistler of Bloomington

Daughter – Carrie (& Brian) Van Vickle of Merrifield

Grandchildren – Kelsey, Kolton, Angelina, Aiden, Colin, and Noah

Sisters – Marietta (& Dewey) Hassig, Carol Nistler, and Barb LaFrance

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Quiet Oaks Hospice House.

Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home in Paynesville.
