Rain this afternoon turning to heavy, wet snow this evening combined with blustery winds will create hazardous travel tonight through Wednesday morning.
“Expect driving conditions to rapidly deteriorate and remain difficult, even dangerous,” MnDOT said in a news release.
The alert will be in effect from 6 p.m. Tuesday to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
