ALEXANDER MEDINA-LIZARRAGA has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Mr. Mark Mavencamp of the World Languages Department. Alex is a junior and the son of Dinorah Lizarraga and Yair Medina of Litchfield. Alex consistently demonstrates a willingness to help classmates, offering support and encouragement whenever needed. Alex engages deeply with the content, showing curiosity and enthusiasm that inspires those around him. His dedication and effort in completing assignments are evident in the high quality of his work. Alex participates in Football, Basketball and Baseball. His hobbies and interests include lifting weights, playing video games and hanging out with friends. JOSH BLOMBERG has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Mr. Kadow of the Science Department. Josh is a junior and the son of Bob and Jennifer Blomberg of Litchfield. Josh was chosen for this honor based upon his outstanding academic work, great hair and probably a saxophone player! Josh participates in Band, Dragonaires, Football, Basketball and Tennis. His hobbies and interests include hanging out with friends and family, little craft projects, basketball and video games. Congratulations Josh on being chosen as this weeks Student of the Week!

The 2025 Litchfield Rescue Squad calendars are available at KLFD, Litchfield Building Center, Miller Automotive, Ramsey Printing, Mid Country Bank and from any Litchfield Rescue Squad member.
WAYLON SHOULTZ has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Terri Orzolek. Waylon is a junior and the son of Megan and Adam Shoultz of Litchfield. Waylon has demonstrated a great deal of improvement and maturity in regards to his school work. He has a goal of graduating by the end of quarter 3 of the 2025-2026 school year. Waylon actively participates in class discussions, is not afraid to voice his opinion and is very helpful to his fellow classmates. He brings a great deal of humor to the classroom. Waylon’s hobbies and interests include rebuilding motors and working on vehicles. Congratulations Waylon on being chosen as this weeks Student of the Week!
