LHS “Student of the Week”

JOSHUA OSTVIG has been selected as this weeks “Student of the Week” by Mrs. Acuna of the Music Department. Joshua is a junior and the son of Michael and Sarah Ostvig of Litchfield. Joshua is a very well rounded student. He has a young mind that is full of potential and self-reflection. He knows what his capabilities and aspirations could could/should/will be and he strives to reach them, even if that is not always an easy path or the one laid out for him. Joshua is one of the most energetic band members we have and it is contagious. He can get the entire ensemble to follow his lead, whether that be at a volleyball game cheering on his classmates, or in rehearsal, encouraging others to get excited about a new piece of repertoire we are working on. Joshua is a kind classmate and congratulates others on their successes. Joshua participates in Football, Basketball, Track and Field, FCCLA, Student Council, Band, Marching Band, Knowledge Bowl, Choir and FCA. His hobbies and interests include cooking, baking, proselyting, spending time with friends and family, playing board games, and being stupendous. Congratulations Joshua on being chosen as this weeks Student of the Week!
