2-Vehicle Crash in Gennessee Township

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a 2-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon at 4:21 in Gennessee Township in Kandiyohi County. The two vehicles were both eastbound on Highway 12 when they collided.

A 2022 Chevy Malibu was driven by 29-year-old Ricardo Garza of St. Paul. He was not injured. A 2004 Buick Century was driven by 19-year-old Ciera Suzan Anderson of Belgrade. She received non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the CentraCare Hospital in Willmar. Also responding to the scene were the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, Atwater Police, Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad and CentraCare Ambulance.
