2-Vehicle Crash in Lake Andrew Township

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 2-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon at 2:50 p.m. at the intersection of County Roads 5 and 40 in Lake Andrew Township – west of New London. A 2017 Dodge Caravan, driven by 49-year-old Heather Dawn Sprifke of Sartell, was eastbound on 40 when she collided with a 2020 Kenworth semi and trailer which was northbound on County Road 5 – driven by 45-year-old Osman Farah of Minneapolis. Sprifke was airlifted from the scene. Farah was taken to CentraCare Hospital by ambulance. Also responding were the MN State Patrol, New London Ambulance, New London Fire Dept., Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad, Lakes Area First Responders, Centra Care EMS and Life Link.
