All Things Christmas This Weekend
One of the busiest weekends of the year in the area will be coming up this weekend. There will be bake and craft sales and other events to get people in the Christmas spirit.
The Little Red Schoolhouse’s 15th Annual Holiday Sale will be on Saturday from 8:30-to-2 at Beckville Lutheran Church at 20521 600th Avenue – south of Litchfield. There will be European breads, garlics, 3D Printing demo and gifts, Christmas and home decor, hats, paintings, poinsettias, krumkaka, rosettes, charcuterie and cribbage boards and more.
Christmas at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City will be on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. There will be decorative cookies, candy, a bake sale, lefse, ethnic goodies, quilts, crafts, cards, napkins and brunch. The cost for the brunch is $13 for adults, $6 for children 10 and under and $4 for just a roll and coffee. Take-outs are available.
The Pioneer Christmas at the Forest City Stockade will be on Saturday from 11-to-5. Admission is $5 for adults and it’s free for children 12 and under. The Litchfield Area Writers Group will read selections from their new book “Home” on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the G.A.R. Hall in Litchfield. Refreshments will be served.
Litchfield Community Theatre presents the Holiday Showcase on Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Bernie Aaker Auditorium. Freewill donations will be accepted. Door prizes will be given away. It’s sponsored by KLFD, the Litchfield Rail, and Litchfield Community Education.
