Area Public Library Events

Several events are coming up in the public libraries around Meeker County. There are story times and other activities in Litchfield, Dassel, Grove City and Cosmos.

In Litchfield, baby/toddler story time is on Wednesdays at 10:15 a.m.; preschool story time is on Fridays at 10 a.m.; the teen program Dungeons & Dragons will be on October 12th at 1:30 p.m.; the Friends of the Library will have a meeting on October 14th at 4 p.m.; kid’s craft club will be on October 15th from 4-to-5 p.m.; the Mystery Book Club will meet on October 16th at 7 p.m.; Knitting Club will meet on October 17th from 12:30-to-1:30; the Leather Lab will meet on October 19th from 10 a.m. to noon (sign-up required); the adult arts & crafts yarn pumpkin activity is on October 24th at 6:30 p.m. (sign-up required); the TeenTober laser tag will be at Prairie Park October 26th from 7-to-8:30 p.m.; and trick or treating will be held at the Litchfield Public Library October 31st until 8 p.m. For more details, call the Library at 693-2483.

In Dassel, story hour is held on Fridays at 10 a.m.; adult book club will meet on October 23rd at 1 p.m.; and trick or treating will be held on October 31st until 6 p.m. In Cosmos, Pokemon Club meets on Thursdays from 4-to-5:30 p.m.; the Cosmos Creation Club Lego program will meet on October 21st from 2-to-3 p.m.; and trick or treating will be held at the Cosmos Library on October 31st until 6 p.m.

In Grove City, Tooth care story time with Meeker County Public Health will be held on October 14th at 11 a.m.; the ATGC Book Club at the Atwater Library will include an Author event with Kevin Hood (“The Life & Times of Hillbilly Hood”) on October 15th at 7 p.m.; the knitting club will meet on October 17th from 4-to-5 p.m.; the leather lab (sign up required) will be on October 17th from 6-to-8 p.m.; and trick or treating will be held at the Grove City Library on October 31st until 6 p.m.
