Beno Blue Line Club Youth Hockey Fundraising Golf Tournament

The Beno Blue Line Club has its 14th annual youth hockey fundraising golf tournament on August 24th at the Litchfield Golf Course. The tournament will be followed by a silent auction.

Jeff Woods says many people have supported youth hockey in the community over the years and it’s not cheap for the families whose children are involved in hockey. He says proceeds from the golf tournament will be used in numerous ways.

Woods says, besides helping with some of the equipment costs, the Beno Blue Line Club helps with costs related to participating in the state tournament and much more. He says they have many sponsors who help make the golf tournament possible.

He says the cost per person for the 4-person scramble is $100 – which includes a golf cart – and it’s filling up quickly. The silent auction will include all kinds of items including a Gordy Howe autographed portrait.
