Cam Shaft Special Car Show is Tomorrow

The 2nd annual Cam Shaft Special Car Show will be held tomorrow in the Litchfield Civic Arena parking lot from 9-to-2. The entry is free for cars and motorcycles and you can just show up or pre-register at camshaftspecial.com.

Andy Miller from Miller Automotive says they won’t be able to move into the Civic Arena this year in case of rain as there is remodeling taking place inside of the arena. He says there will be prizes for whichever vehicle travels the greatest distance, the cleanest engine bay, the most rubber on the wheel well and the most rubber in the wheel well.

Miller says besides Miller Automotive and Simm’s Napa Auto Parts, there are other sponsors for the event such as Ramsey Printing, Lehr Agency, Litchfield Auto Body and KLFD. Mitch Simmons from Simm’s Napa Auto Parts says there will be some military vehicles at the Cam Shaft Car Show Special and they’re expecting some vehicles from the fire department, rescue squad and law enforcement too. He says there will also be food and vendor booths and merchandise for sale.

Simmons says there’s an online store through Ramsey Printing with a QR code in which you can also order items. He says you can find more details on the Cam Shaft Special Car Show Facebook page.
