Ecumen of Litchfield Elderly Resident Services

Ecumen of Litchfield has all kinds of services to help elderly residents. Besides the various housing options available, there is home care, Hospice and adult day services.
Ecumen Care Consultant Jillian Miller says Home Care can help people who are maybe recovering from an illness or injury or maybe have a new or worsening health condition with all kinds of services to keep them living safely in their own homes.
Miller says if you would like to know more about Ecumen Home Care or if you need information about end-of-life services in the Hospice program, you may call 877-311-4997.
Adult Day Supervisor Dawn Doty says they are available Monday through Friday from 8-to-4 and the cost is $19 per hour. She says bathing and foot care are available for additional charges and people may try Adult Day for a 3-hour trial period for free to see if it’s right for them.
Doty says people who attend adult day services blossom from the socialization aspect and it gives caregivers a break. She says it’s a person-centered service and they help those participating get engaged in activities.
Nicole Larson says the Emmaus Place and Memory Care units at Ecumen of Litchfield are full right now, but there may be a couple of apartments available soon at Bethany Assisted Living.
Larson says if anyone would like to see the various units available at Ecumen of Litchfield, they may call her for a tour at 320-373-6370. She says Ecumen will be hosting a blood drive in the Chapel on April 30th from 10-to-4 and you can make appointments at redcrossblood.org.
