Fatal Crash on Highway 22

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Highway 22 in McLeod County yesterday morning at 10:05. A 2017 Ford Escape was traveling westbound on 230th Street in Acoma Township and collided with a straight truck that was northbound on Highway 22.

The Escape was driven by 66-year-old Roxanne Marie Stordahl of McIntosh, MN. She was killed in the crash. The 2023 Hino straight truck was driven by 42-year-old Rolando Valencia Pliego of Eagan. He received non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Hutchinson Hospital. A passenger in the truck – 18-year-old Manuel Geovanny Loja Montero of Minneapolis – also received non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Hutchinson Hospital.

Also responding to the scene were the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office, Meeker County Sheriff’s Office and Hutchinson Fire Dept.
