Grove City CARE Souper Bowl Lunch
The Grove City Area CARE program has its souper bowl fundraising lunch on Saturday, February 8th from 11-to-1 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City. It’s $12 for adults and $5 for children under 10.
Meeker County Commissioner Steve Schmitt, who is on the CARE board, says you can get an endless bowl of soup, sandwich, dessert and beverage. He says it’s a great way to support the CARE program which he calls the best-kept secret in Meeker County – because of the way it cuts down on health and human services needs in the western part of the county.
Schmitt says the Grove City Area CARE program provides services to seniors to help them live safely for as long as possible in their own homes.
