Grove City Summer Rec Activites Underway

Summer recreation activities are underway in Grove City. The program actually began last Monday with soccer, but children can get signed up at any time.
Andrew Hallin is coordinating the summer rec program in Grove City and he says there is soccer, basketball, and a cooking and baking class this month, and then next month, there will be volleyball, arts & crafts, and more baking classes. He says it’s open to children from Kindergarten through 12th grade and students can get signed up at any time.
Hallin says you can get more information at the City Office by calling 857-2322 or by emailing him at fbcpastorandrew@gmail.com. He says he’s also the youth pastor at First Baptist Church in Grove City and they have some fun summer activities planned on Sundays.
Hallin says First Baptist Church has an Outpost activity every Monday from 10-to-2 at the South Grove gymnasium and that will continue through the summer months. He says they want to have recreational activities available for children so that they don’t spend too much time indoors playing video games. Hallin says First Baptist Church in Grove City also has family movie nights scheduled for Friday nights at 6:30 p.m. throughout the summer – with free popcorn. The church is located on North 5th Street in Grove City.
