Knights of Columbus Fish Fry
The Knights of Columbus Fish Fry will be in the St. Philip’s Church Social Hall on Friday, March 15th from 11 a.m.-to-7 p.m. – or until the fish is gone. You can either dine-in or drive-up and it’s $15 per meal.
Dave Keeling says the menu includes Alaskan Pollock, baked potato, baked beans, coleslaw, dinner roll, cookie and beverage. He says they’ve ordered more fish the past couple of years, so they have not run out of fish before 7 p.m. as in some of the past years.
Keeling says they appreciate the support that they get from the community and for everyone who attends their fish fry each year. He says this is the 18th annual fish fry, and the proceeds go to all kinds of great causes supported by the Knights of Columbus.
Keeling says they do other events throughout the year such as a burger stand at the Songs of Summer Festival and proceeds from that event are used to purchase jackets for young people in need in the area. He says they buy most of the groceries needed for the fish fry in Litchfield and they spend around $10,000.
