Dean Urdahl’s latest movie premiere of “Lincoln and Booth” will be held next week at the Hollywood Theater in downtown Litchfield. Urdahl will also be part of a community discussion regarding the Declaration of Independence this Thursday at 6 p.m. at the G.A.R. Hall.
Urdahl says he and David O’Fallon will lead the discussion – reflecting on our principles and looking ahead to the next 250 years. He says it’s a free event, but they need people to preregister for the 6 p.m. meal and program. For more details, email Dean at urdahls@hotmail.com.
Urdahl says the movie “Tangled Web” which premiered last spring will be replayed on November 9th at 7 p.m. at the Hollywood Theater, and then “Lincoln and Booth” can be seen at the Hollywood Theater on November 10th, 11th and 12th at 7 p.m. He says the movie covers the events prior to Lincoln’s assassination.
Urdahl says there are a couple of professional actors in the film including Chuck Johnson of Perham, MN who plays Abraham Lincoln and there are several local residents who will appear in “Lincoln and Booth.” He says this is the 6th film that he’s done and the quality improves each time.
