Litchfield Community Ed Upcoming Trips

Litchfield Community Education is promoting the Litchfield Community Theatre production of “Almost Maine.” The show can be seen this Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Bernie Aaker Auditorium in Litchfield.
Litchfield Community Education Director Grant Solem says there are still lots of great seats available and you can buy tickets through Litchfield Community Education or on the website: litchfieldcommunitytheatre.com. He says it’s a great show to see over Valentine’s weekend as there is a love theme.
Solem says Litchfield Community Education has trips coming up including to “Divas through the Decades” at the St. Cloud Paramount on March 4th and to “37 Postcards” on April 25th at the Plymouth Playhouse. He says lap swimming is available on Sundays from 4-to-5 p.m.; there are virtual piano and guitar lessons available; and there’s a barn quilt painting class on March 6th.
Solem says there are AARP safe driving classes on March 3rd and 26th at the Wagner Education Building; and indoor walking opportunities at Cornerstone Church and at Lake Ripley Elementary School. He says you can sign up for classes or get more details by calling Litchfield Community Education at 693-2354, stopping at 307 East 6th Street, or by finding the Litchfield Community Education link on the Litchfield School District website.
