Litchfield Community Education Summer Activities

Litchfield Community Education activities are in full gear during this second week in June. The weight room is busy, and youth baseball and several other activities are under way.

Litchfield Community Education Director Grant Solem says the summer lunch program began again at the Middle School and it’s free for children from grade K up through age 18 and it’s $5 for anyone else. He says a new program – Summer Adventure Camp – began this week.

Solem says Summer Adventure Camp continues next week and there will be two more weeks in July. He says pickleball for adults is outside now and is not run through Community Education during the summer months.

Solem says they have some great trips planned for this fall and the Stillwater boat cruise is almost full. He says tickets will go on sale soon for the Litchfield Community Theatre production of “Robin Hood and the White Arrow.” For more information on any activities, go to litchfieldcommunityed.com or call 693-2354.
