Litchfield Downtown Council Easter Egg Hunt
The Litchfield Downtown Council is hosting the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at the Litchfield Civic Arena. It’s for children up to age 12.
Betty Allen says ProWorks and Ecumen have helped them stuff between 5,000 and 6,000 plastic eggs with goodies. She says some of the eggs will have slips of paper entitling the child with a new bicycle or other prize and they’ve had lots of bicycles donated this year.
Allen says they divide the Civic Arena into 6 circles with each age group in a different circle collecting eggs and the children should bring a basket or container in which to put their eggs. She says members of the Litchfield Rescue Squad will be helping the Litchfield Downtown Council with the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday morning at the Litchfield Civic Arena – and the Boy Scouts and Litchfield Rotary Club helped them assemble the bicycles that will be given away.
