Litchfield Rotary Club Spring Fling

The Litchfield Rotary Club has its annual Spring Fling on April 7th at the Litchfield Eagles Club. The big fundraising event coincides with the final game of the men’s NCAA basketball tournament.
Janaye Prieve says you can get a $50 ticket for the event by calling the Chamber office at 693-8184 or contact any Rotary member. She says it begins at 7 p.m. with dinner served at 7:30 and something new this year will be the giving away of door prizes.
Prieve says there will be about 20 baskets that will be raffled, a meat raffle and a live auction which will include corn hole boards, Minnesota Wild and Twins tickets and a meat package. She says you can find out more at litchfieldmnrotary.com.
Tom Springer says your $50 ticket qualifies you for a cash prize drawing with first prize of $500, second prize of $200, third prize of $100 and four prizes of $50 each and you need not be present to win those cash prizes. He says your $50 ticket supports the Rotary Club and is also a good deal for you.
Springer says the Litchfield Rotary Club uses the proceeds for all kinds of projects which in recent years have included the installation of AEDs at various locations around Litchfield, audio enhancement equipment for classrooms at Lake Ripley Elementary School, beds for kids and much more. He says this is one of their main fundraisers for the year, so it would be appreciated if people would purchase tickets for the Spring Fling on April 7th at the Litchfield Eagles Club.
