Litchfield School Board Meeting

The Litchfield School Board got reorganized for 2025 last night and elected officers. Alex Carlson will continue to serve as chair, with Darrin Anderson as vice chair, Greg Mathews as clerk and Marcia Provencher as treasurer.
The new board members were welcomed – Stephanie Danielson and Tim Oster – and introduced themselves. Oster is a detective with the Sheriff’s Office, graduated from Litchfield High School ten years ago and then served in the Marine Corps. He and his wife have two preschool children. Danielson is a business retail manager at Home State Bank. She and her husband have three children, including twins who are in first grade and another child who will start Kindergarten next year.
The Litchfield School Board will continue to meet on the 2nd and 4th Mondays each month at 6 p.m.; and will continue with salaries of $60 per meeting, with $5 extra for the board chair and $45 for special meetings. The board members were assigned to various committees last night.
The Litchfield School Board approved of membership for 2025 with PACT 4 Families. The Litchfield School Board also approved of a resolution last night accepting donations including $6,000 from the LDC Hockey Boosters for LDC Hockey for additional coaches, and $2,925 each from both the VFW and Eagles for Litchfield High School for new volleyball standards.
