Man Injured by a Bull in Holding Township
On Wednesday morning at 9:14, the Stearns County Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call reporting that a 45-year-old man had been injured by a bull at the address of 16046 County Road 52 in Holding Twp. The caller reported that the man was still in the pen with the bull.
When deputies arrived on the scene they found 45-year-old Keith Woitalla of Avon, laying in a cattle pen. At that time, the bull had been secured in a separate pen. Initial care was provided to Woitalla by deputies and Holdingford Rescue. He was eventually transported by Mayo Ambulance Service to the St. Cloud Hospital with serious injuries. The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Holdingford Fire and Rescue and Mayo Ambulance Service.
