Motorcycle Crash North of Lake Lillian
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motorcycle crash on Saturday evening at 7:17 on County Road 8 – about 3 and a half miles north of Lake Lillian. The driver was killed.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered that the 2008 Suzuki VL800 Cruiser was southbound on County Road 8, went off the roadway on a curve and rolled multiple times. The driver, a 48-year-old Lake Lillian man, was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet. His name has not yet been released.
Assisting the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office at the scene were the MN State Patrol, Willmar Police Dept., Lake Lillian Ambulance, Lake Lillian Fire Dept., Kandiyohi County Rescue, CentraCare Ambulance and Life Link helicopter.
