The Litchfield City Council is moving back the interviews for the Ward 5 seat that was vacated by Sara Miller to May 5th. The interviews were originally scheduled for April 21st. The deadline to apply is still April 15th.
Mayor Ron Dingmann says Betty Allen will be attending the April 21st meeting by Zoom and they thought it would be better to have the interviews when all Council members are in the Council chambers on May 5th. He says the Council approved of annual transfers of funds Monday evening.
Mayor Dingmann says $330,000 is being transferred into the Community Reinvestment Fund and a future work session will be held to determine how to spend that money. He says the Council also approved of hiring Home Town Fiber to install fiber optic cable for $131,052.
