School of St. Philip Looking for a New Principal

The School of St. Philip in Litchfield will be looking for a new principal. Jenna Scheevel has resigned from the position. Scheevel says after a year as Principal at St. Philip’s School, an opportunity came up for her in the Osseo School District that she couldn’t turn down.

Scheevel says she will be around this summer as the search for her replacement takes place. She says St. Philip’s School will have floats in the Eden Valley, Litchfield and Darwin parades this summer, and families will be getting ready for the October 6th marathon. She says there is information on the Shepherd of Souls website for enrollment in the school or people may email Mary Roers at mroers@schoolofstphilip.org.

Events Coordinator Monica Schreiber says lots of events are coming up in the next few months within the Shepherd of Souls Area Faith Community. She says the St. Philip’s Bazaar will be on September 10th from 11-to-3.

Schreiber says the Church of St. Anthony in Watkins has its Fall Festival on September 10th, the St. John’s Fall Festival will be on September 17th, and the Pork Chop Supper at the Church of Our Lady in Manannah will be on September 24th.
