Semi and Pedestrian Accident in Annandale

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to an accident Thursday morning at 6:01 involving a semi and a pedestrian at Highway 55 and Commercial Drive in Annandale. The pedestrian, 45-year-old James Smith of Annandale received non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital.
The 2026 Peterbilt Semi Truck, driven by 52-year-old Frank Melvin Warden of Maple Lake, was traveling westbound on Highway 55 and Smith was walking westbound on Highway 55, when contact was made. Also responding to the scene were the Wright County Sherriff’s Office, Annandale Fire Dept., Annandale Police Dept., and Allina Health EMS.
