Single Vehicle Crash

On Saturday afternoon at 2:17, the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a single vehicle crash in the 63000 block of Meeker Stearns Street in Forest Prairie Township.  Meeker County Deputies, Eden Valley Police, Eden Valley Fire and Rescue, and Mayo Ambulance responded to the scene. The driver, 58-year-old Jennifer Hanson of Eden Valley, was the only occupant.  Hanson was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.  Deputies learned the vehicle veered onto the shoulder of the road, at which point Hanson overcorrected, causing her to hit a post and mailbox.
