Spicer “4th of July” Events

Spicer has its annual “4th of July” celebration this weekend. The grand day parade is on Thursday at 10 a.m. and there will be fireworks at dusk.
The Briggs Motley Treasureland Market will be open near the intersection of Highways 23 and 10 – west of Mel’s Guns ‘n’ Gifts – Thursday, Friday and Saturday. There will be a “Kid’s Night” Friday evening from 4-to-7 – west of Highway 23 – with all kinds of activities.
The Street Dance in Spicer is on Saturday night from 8-to-11 p.m. featuring the music of the Mason Dixon Line. Admission is $15 – cash only – and it’s free for kids under 12. The Green Lake Road Race is on Sunday. For a complete schedule, find the Spicer 4th of July Facebook page.
