St. Philip’s Church Bazaar & Car Show
The St. Philip’s Church Bazaar and Car Show is coming up at the church on East 5th Street in Litchfield on September 8th from 9-to-1. It will include mass, food, drinks, music, a cash raffle drawing and all kinds of fun activities.
Monica Schreiber says the Bazaar is starting earlier this year and they are excited to have the Litchfield Eagles Club staff there this year to serve a variety of beverages. She says there will be a Mexican food stand, Knights of Columbus hamburger and chicken stand, popcorn, root beer, and a dessert booth, and music by Glen Everhart.
Schreiber says there will be a bean bag tournament during the St. Philip’s Church Bazaar and participants need to register with Brenda by September 6th – call 693-3313. She says there will also be a cash raffle drawing with a top prize of $2,000 and tickets are available at the church.
Ashley Huhn is coordinating the car show during the St. Philip’s Bazaar and this is the 19th year of the car show. He says they usually have about 100 cars and there is some judging.
Huhn says the entry fee for each car is $10 and you can come late or leave early, depending on your schedule. For more information about the St. Philip’s Bazaar and Car Show on September 8th, call the church at 693-3313, extension 106.
