St. Philip’s School Marathon Fundraiser
Students at St. Philip’s Catholic School in Litchfield have already begun their annual marathon fundraising campaign. The students are collecting pledges and intentions and then they will walk around Litchfield on October 4th.
Principal Andrea Dietrich says they are hoping to raise $70,000 this year. She says the school is also raising funds this fall with a pop-up Halloween costume shop which will be open in the Fieldgate Cheese Store on Saturdays from 10-to-2 September 21st through October 19th, and if anyone has a used costume that they would like to donate, they may drop it off at St. Philip’s School.
Dietrich says enrollment is up by 5 students this year, compared to last year. She says they have new language arts curriculum this year.
Dietrich says someone has volunteered to teach an art class this year at St. Philip’s School. She says students may enroll at St. Philip’s School at any time. For more information, call 693-6283.
